Meet The Facilitator

Brian Gough

Welcome to the Digital Media course at the Satellite Center. This is my 29th year teaching and my 19th year as a Facilitator at the Satellite Center. I also currently serve as the SCPPS webmaster. This school year I am looking forward to helping my team members learn more about the field of digital arts and prepare them for post-secondary and career opportunities. 

Over my career in education I have been an administrator, taught Interactive Media (at Sat Center), Web Design, Network Architecture, Animation, Science, SCPPS systems analyst and trainer. Over this time, I have also done freelance web design, app development, photography, and digital design throughout my career. I hold a Master's of Education in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana Tech University. I am a member of the Adobe Education Leaders group, a 2022 semi-finalist for the Louisiana State Teacher of the Year, and winner of the 2022 LDOE Public Interest Fellowship award. In addition, I am also a New Tech Network Certified Teacher and Trainer.
