Guiding Principles Pledge

The Satellite Center Guiding Principles are for both team members and facilitators. We created this agreement as a way to focus on our culture and establish expectations for every individual at the Satellite Center.

Satellite Center Guiding Principles

• Integrity...our commitment to quality services and honest, forthright, and respectful professional relationships.
• Respect...for individuals who are associated with the St. Charles Parish Public Schools Satellite Center including team members, facilitators, staff, business partners, community members, and families. 
• Responsibility...makes us accountable for our behavior and accepting of the consequences. We perform our duties honestly and efficiently.
• Excellence...we strive for the best setting high expectations for ourselves and our team members in the pursuit of improvement.

Team Members’ Pledge

Integrity: I will...

• Be truthful, fair, and trustworthy in my words and actions.
• Express myself respectfully.
• Do what is right, even when nobody is watching.
• Interact with others in productive and positive ways that build trust.
• Submit work that is entirely my own.

Respect: I will...

• Have empathy for others and treat them with dignity.
• Be an attentive listener and an engaged team member.
• Show respect through my words, actions, and attitude to treat people respectfully.

Responsibility: I will...

• Ask for help or clarity when accepting a task.
• Be trusted and depended upon to complete tasks and follow directions.
• Be accountable for my actions when I fall short of an expectation.
• Follow the St. Charles Parish Public Schools dress code.
• Be prompt, and ready to begin working at 7:35 am/11:25 am.
• Come prepared to learn every day.

Excellence: I will...

• Put my best effort into everything I do.
• Always work, think, and behave according to the Satellite Center Guiding Principles.
• Do whatever it takes for my fellow team members and myself to learn.

Staff & Faculty Pledge

• Consistently act in a way so that others know that they can depend on me.
• Provide each student with a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Be timely, prepared, and respect the needs and time of others.

• Establish meaningful opportunities for current and future team members at the Satellite Center.
