Course Laptops

At the Satellite Center team members in Engineering, Educators Rising, Digital Media, Interactive Media, Advanced Television Broadcasting and Technical Theatre are provided a laptop throughout the time they are enrolled in one of our courses. 

St. Charles Parish Public Schools provides insurance coverage for any major damage to the laptop. Additionally, all small technology issues (hardware and software) are covered under the school system's maintenance contract and are resolved by either the Satellite Center's Technology Coordinator or the parish's IT services.

The current laptops that are leased to Team Members are:

• HP x360 1030 - Educators Rising
• HP zBook - Engineering Design & Physics
• MacBook Pro 15" - Advanced TV Broadcasting, Digital Media, Interactive Media, Technical Theatre
• Chromebook  - Provided by the high school for all other courses.
